However, the young lady is facing quite a tough competition from another young Kollywood actress Oviya, who started her career in 2008 with the ‘Apoorva’. But Oviya got noticed with her performance in the Tamil film ‘Kalavani’.

It has been just one year and both of them are already trying hard to beat each other as they are considered to be the fastest rising Malayalee girls in Tamil film industry. Both of them have unbelievable screen presence and they were seen doing a glamorous photo shoot with a renowned photographer recently.

Oviya & Amala are often seen trying to snatch each other’s roles. There is a buzz that a top director narrated the story of his latest film to Amala first and then he went on signing Oviya as she was available on his required dates. So, this added fuel to the already heating rivalry. Both of them have hands filled with almost half a dozen films and are trying to add the star factor before their names as soon as possible.
